Chris Walsh
Managing Director
With an extensive track record of over 25 years in sales, Chris Walsh serves as the dynamic Managing Director of ABC Distribution. Chris’s journey in the industry reflects his commitment to driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships.
Before his ABC Distribution role, Chris served as Alpha Generation’s Director from March 2014 to November 2019. Instrumental in positioning Alpha as a dedicated extension of vendors’ sales teams, Chris’s leadership ensured channel-driven business success and the pursuit of new resellers and opportunities, establishing Alpha as a trusted choice for UK vendor expansion.
In 2013, Chris held the position of Fortinet’s Channel Sales Manager, refining his channel management expertise. During his almost decade-long tenure at Exclusive Networks, holding the role of UK Sales Director from October 2003 to July 2013, Chris managed key partner relationships at vendor and reseller levels, significantly contributing to organisational success.
His proven track record of leadership and wealth of experience in driving sales and building strategic alliances, Chris continues to bring his expertise to ABC Distribution, steering the company toward new heights in the ever-evolving landscape of distribution and technology.
Ryan Compagnone
Sales Director
With over a decade of experience, Ryan is the Sales Director at ABC Distribution since its inception in June 2020. Committed to ABC Distribution’s mission of offering well-funded, disruptive technologies for market differentiation and short-term ROI, Ryan brings a wealth of expertise to the role.
Previously, as EMEA Channel Director at Edgescan, Ryan created the CRN Awards-nominated Channel Program that successfully launched the company’s channel in the UK, Nordics, Benelux, and South Africa.
In earlier roles at cybersecurity firms, Ryan excelled as EMEA Strategic Alliances Manager at WhiteHat Security (acquired by NTT Security), contributing to the rebuild of the EMEA Channel, culminating in NTT’s acquisition. His journey also includes successful stints as Channel & SI Manager at BehavioSec and the first man on the ground in EMEA for Thycotic as Channel Sales Manager, where he initiated a two-tier channel and achieved remarkable regional revenue growth.
Ryan’s career continued as Channel Sales Manager UK & I at Lieberman Software and UK&I Channel Manager at Venafi, driving revenue growth and expanding footprints across key sectors. His career started at IQPC as an Internal Account Manager in 2008.
Ryan now leads ABC Distribution with his extensive experience, steering the company to new heights in the distribution and technology landscape.
